The Q Revo is a fantastic choice if you are looking for a robot vacuum and mop that's mid-range. It gives a great mopping experience, but it lacks the features that make up its more expensive sibling.

In tests it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats from medium-pile carpets. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the most highly-rated robots. It comes with a variety of features and impressive cleaning power, such as a dirt compartment that is built into the charging base. It can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest automated schedules for a truly hands-free experience.

It's easy to set up thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once the system is setup it can begin automated cleaning with a single button press. You can select an overall clean that focuses on getting rid of larger pieces of debris such as cereal and rice, or opt for two detailed maps of your area to ensure that your entire home gets a proper look.

This robot vacuum is effective on floors that are unfinished and low-pile carpet. It is able to pick up pet hair and clean big objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It's not able to work with plush or high-pile carpets however, iRobot says that future models will be more efficient.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that is focused on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's a great improvement over the traditional hockey puck shape of the majority of robovacs. However, we found it to be incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also has a superior filtration system which blocks microscopic particles and allergens recirculating within your home. It's a nice claim, but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the price price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to remember the arrangement of your home and vSLAM for mapping the interior of your home. It then cleans your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, as well as create virtual boundary markers, so that it can recognize areas that require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robot that combines mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those of more expensive models and its mopping system is superior, as its spinning pads do a much better job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only issue is that it does not have a second rubber brush for more thorough cleaning, but that's an affordable price to pay if you want one of the best robots available. The dust tank on the robovac is larger than many of its competitors, and filling it up only takes two or three times, even when you've got the most dirt.

The two mopping modes that it has that are less aggressive than the more powerful ones, generate minimal noise, allowing you to work or even watch TV without interruption. If it comes into contact with the wall or a piece of furniture, it gently bumps into it before moving on.

What really distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly completely on its own, with no need for user intervention. The dock of the robo-vac has multiple functions and automatically transfers garbage into a bin hidden. It also washes and dries, as well as refills the clean water tank. The app will only inform you when something is not right for example, a low clean water tank or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to the bin being full.

You can also create or combine rooms to personalize the way Q Revo manages your home. This feature is beneficial when you have different flooring in different areas of your house or if you need to regularly clear out clutter such as toys, clothes and books. The robot vacuum mop robot was also one of the top performers in my tests, picking up debris on both carpets as well as hardwood floors with the first pass. It can even vacuum up wet spills, though I recommend wiping them dry using a clean cloth before bringing the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that has all the features you can want. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum with a powerful suction that cleans carpets and hard floors, plus the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough staining. It also comes with an auto-cleaning station that automatically washes and empties the mop pads, keeping them fresh and ready for reuse. It also has a new sensor system that can better detects obstacles, granting it the ability to avoid falling over furniture and other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this version has a sleeker, more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet tall and deep and weighs in excess of four pounds--the robot itself and its base are much less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This version is more efficient than the X1 because it charges more quickly and cleans 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a bigger and more robust dustbin that can store more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant and an app that can be used even when you're at home. It also comes with more mopping modes and an intelligent routing feature which allows it to clean certain rooms or areas of your house instead of simply following a predetermined path.

The X2 Omni is the most effective mopping robot. Its rotating mop pads clean tough stains and its motor produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is excellent, and it increases suction when it senses carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It is equipped with a large rechargeable battery that can last up to seven days. The mopping mode of the robot is also extremely effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium mop and vacuum robot that comes with a variety of convenience features you do not often find on robots in this price. It can build detailed floor maps, identify various flooring types, and it's one of the few that can automatically wash and dry the mop pads. Although these features are great, they also push the L10s Ultra into the luxury category, which might make it somewhat more expensive than some homeowners need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It is tall and slim, with a white finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is adorned with an impressive bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner while moving around your home. Sensors are hidden behind the front panel, which help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the screen, you'll find one button that basically acts as an on/off switch. Pressing this will activate the vacuum, and clicking it again will shut off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The circular menu in the middle of the control panel lets users to select cleaning options as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons allow you to access the settings in the app, where you can customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of cameras and LIDAR technology to map your home. This helps the robot vacuum and mop effectively without getting stuck. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and recognize them as obstacles, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or small children.

The L10s Ultra has a solid vacuuming capability which clears 98.4 percent of the debris from our hardwood floor test and taking out all but the most difficult juice stain. Its mops also do a great job in removing 98.4 percent of debris from our tile, carpet, and wood tests. It was not as effective in removing sand from our hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
